چکیده

Abstract. In 2016, the first processing of semi-global digital surface models (DSMs) utilizing all archives stereo imageries derived from Panchromatic Remote sensing Instrument for Stereo Mapping (PRISM) onboard Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS) was successfully completed. The dataset freely released to public in 30 m grid spacing as ‘ALOS World 3D - 30m (AW3D30)’, which generated its original version processed 5 or 2.5 spacing. has been updated since then improve absolute/relative height accuracies with additional calibrations. However, most significant update that should be applied improving data usability is filling void areas, correspond approx. 10% semiglobal coverage, mostly due cloud covers. 2020, we completed process by using other open-access elevation (DEMs) such Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) DEM, Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer Global DEM (ASTER GDEM), ArcticDEM, etc., except Antarctica. this paper, report on remaining voids Antarctica DEMs Reference Elevation Model (REMA) DSM, TerraSAR-X add-on Digital Measurement (TanDEM-X, TDX) 90m ASTER GDEM complete void-free AW3D30 datasets.

Generation of the 30 M-mesh Global Digital Surface Model by Alos Prism

Topographical information is fundamental to many geo-spatial related information and applications on Earth. Remote sensing satellites have the advantage in such fields because they are capable of global observation and repeatedly. Several satellite-based digital elevation datasets were provided to examine global terrains with medium resolutions e.g. the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM), ...

Accuracy Evaluation of Digital Surface Model Using Alos Prism Data for Disaster Monitoring

The need of accurate measurement is a tactical objective to produce precise information in disaster monitoring. A small movement of land could be a prior index to the biggest landslide. The biggest disasters can lead by a small unnoticeable changes. The measurement of 3 dimensional surfaces changes could be calculated accurately using very high resolution satellite stereo images. The availabili...

Open-Surface Digital Microfluidics

Open-surface digital microfluidics refers to droplet manipulations in an open surface. Different chemical/biological reaction protocols can easily be demonstrated in the same device by reprogramming the order of droplet manipulations. While continuous-flow or liquid-plug microfluidics within microchannels have inherently limited programmability, there is no limit of reprogrammability in open-su...
